OSM mapping equity · health facilities per capita

Mapped health facilities (OpenStreetMap amenity=hospital / clinic) per million people, by country. On the primary metric, dark = fewer per capita = more under-mapped. Click a country for its values. The scale is clamped at the 90th percentile so a few extreme outliers (e.g. Greenland, ~600/M from its tiny population) don't compress the range; those high outliers are drawn in purple. Caveat: a single feature class blends mapping completeness with real-world provision; read low values as "under-mapped or underserved". Data: OpenStreetMap via Overpass; population from Natural Earth.
